Tucked away in quiet seclusion, the Chateau offers convenient proximity to the Harrah’s Cherokee Casino yet is only a short drive to skiing and downtown Maggie Valley. Enjoy the calm, quiet view while you relax in the shady comfort of the screened-in porch or soak in the outdoor hot tub.

A two story cabin with 2 bedrooms, a cozy loft and 2 baths, the Chateau sits on 1.3 wooded acres. Each bedroom has a queen-size bed and there is a double sleeper sofa downstairs. And with a day bed in the loft, 7 can sleep comfortably. Access is by gravel road, which requires four-wheel drive.

Cancellation Policy:

Travelers who cancel a reservation 60 days or more prior to arrival date will receive a 100% refund of rent minus the reservation fee of $100.00

Travelers who cancel a reservation between 31 and 59 days prior to arrival date will receive a 50% refund of rent minus the reservation fee of $100.00

Travelers who cancel within 30 days of arrival will only receive a refund if the property is re-booked for the same dates, minus the reservation fee of $100.00

Instructions for Check-In/Check-Out

• You must check-in at our office at 2787 Soco Rd. in Maggie Valley. We are located in Eagles Plaza near Snappy’s Pizza.

• Check in times will begin at 4:00 pm, however, this is not guaranteed. We work very hard to accommodate this check in time, but additional cleaning and inspection may be required for the rental homes, especially during peak and holiday seasons. You are welcome to call the office before your arrival to see if your vacation rental is ready for occupancy.

• During business hours, your check-in packet will be in our office. If you arrive after business hours, your packet will be in the RED drop box located just outside our office door. This packet includes directions to the home, keys, an after-hours emergency number, local trash locations, and directions to various grocery stores.

• Check out is 10:00 am and all keys need to be returned to our office or placed in the locked section of the RED drop box.

Items you will need to bring with you

(owners do not supply these items, however, if they are in the home, you are welcome to use)

• all paper products (toilet paper, napkins, paper plates, paper towels)

• trash bags, tin foil, baggies, coffee filters

• dish soap, laundry soap, hand soap, bath products

• All homes are furnished with bed and bath linens, pots & pans, and dishes. The homes also have washer and dryers for your use.

• If you are wanting to have firewood delivered, please call our office atand we will give you a contact person for that.

• Please be aware that weather and road conditions can change drastically in the mountains during the winter, even if there is no snow, roads can still become icy and dangerous (this includes steps and driveways) Please plan accordingly and drive safely.

Utility outages (power, cable, internet) are out of our control and we will make every effort for a quick resolve. There are no adjustment or refunds due to utility outages.

NON-DISCLOSURE OF PETS WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE EVICTION AND NO REFUND

mountain peace

We had a very restful and peaceful stay at your cabin. We spent most of your time there sitting on the covered porch enjoying the birds singing, the cool breeze, and beautiful mountain view. The cabin was just as described and very accommodating and comfy. The downstairs bed was a bit too firm for us so we used the upstairs bed. The kitchen was stocked with most everything you would need and a great variety of DVD's to choose from. We did some hiking and did not see any bears this go round. The road into the community was easy enough to manage but the driveway was filled with water run off gulleys but our Subaru did just fine. However, that is why we own Subaru's. The cabin was very secluded but close enough to other cabins. Check-in and out was easy with the realtor. Overall this was one of our top two or three cabins and locations and will gladly try to rent it again in the near future.

Wonderful three week stay.

My husband and I had a terrific experience at Les Chak. The adorable cabin was quiet and peaceful. Every morning we had coffee overlooking the magnificent mountains and loved the hot tub after hiking all day. We were delighted to be visited by Mama bear and her two cubs. The location was perfect for visiting Waynesville, Ashville, Cataloochee and Bryson City.

Great place! Awesome views!

We are a family of four and there was more than enough room and privacy for everyone. This is the nicest place we’ve rented so far. Yes, the road up to the cabin is a bit challenging but we enjoyed the excitement of it. There was an issue with the hot tub and the manager had someone there to fix the same day. Overall, We highly recommend this cabin.

Enjoyable experience

The cabin was comfortable. It was in a great location for privacy (took 5-10 minutes off of the main road to drive a somewhat narrow gravel road to get to). The hot tub and fire pit were very enjoyable! GREAT view of the mountains from the deck.

Beautiful house

We had a great time in this beautiful house. Felt like it was in the middle of nowhere but it’s still not that far from civilization. Had all the must haves plus it was clean and big enough for my family of 4. We loved the fire pit outside and the fireplace inside as well as the hot tub. We even had a short visit with a black bear. Thanks for a very special place to spend with my family!

Fantastic place, but misleading

Overall, we were thrilled with this cabin. The hot tub was perfect, the house was meticulously clean, and the furniture was plentiful and comfortable. The only frustration was the bedroom situation. We felt misled, in that the “upstairs bedroom” with the queen bed was actually a loft that was open to the stairs and the living area below. No doors, no walls. Since we were two families traveling with teens, it would have been nice to have known that one bedroom had absolutely no privacy whatsoever.

Great place!

My husband and two children (6 and 4) stayed here for a long weekend. It had everything we needed. There was plenty of entertainment in the cabin (satellite TV, WiFi, Hot Tub, board games) and plenty to do in the surrounding area. We could have stayed a week and never run out of things to do or see. The place was clean, quiet and safe. The road was a bit of a challenge. In the winter you will definitely need 4 WD, but we managed fine in October with our minivan. Definitely recommend it.

A wonderful experience.

We enjoyed our 4 days in the beautiful cabin located in the remote, wooded, mountans. The cabin provided all of the necessary household provisions for our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

The cabin was wonderful and all we could have hoped for. The driveway is an adventure, 4wd very helpful. Due to a little bit of hurricane Irma we did lose power for 2 days. Melissa was so helpful in finding us a hotel room until the power was restored. We would definitely return to this cabin.

We spend 4 days at this location. Very satisfied with the cabin, very clean, very well organized, the hot tub very clean. I would definitely recommend it. The location and the view are breathtaking. The perfect location for a getaway. Congrats to the owner and the management company.

wonderful and relaxing

I really enjoyed the rental space. We didn't however didn't expect the air-condition unit to fail for 24 hours. Melissa did come up and try to help, but the A/C guy wasn't available and no one was available until Sunday afternoon. I would like to make a suggestion to get better cutlery for the kitchen however, other than that the kitchen was pretty well stocked with whatever we needed. The place was clean and had everything we needed. I would recommend it to others. The driveway is a little steep, but I loved being away from the chaos of town. I would stay again..the only other problem is that if there is an emergency, there is no way of calling out..there is no signal on cell phones and you can't call out on the phone at the cabin. Maybe you should have some kind of check in to the guests to see if everything is ok?

cabin was very nice and fun inside and out. loved the hot tub and used the firepit every night. Spent 2 days of the week just hanging out at the cabin, perfect for relaxing. Only complaint..driveway very steep and even hard to get up with out truck (non 4 wheel drive). dont recommend to cars.

We stayed here last year. My family was more than pleased with our stay last year. We stayed here again this year. It's very clean and updated place to stay with all the creature comforts. No traffic noises or neighbors around. Perfect place for peace and relaxation. We will be coming back again next year. It's a perfect cabin!

Chateau Les Chak

We loved the cabin. The only comment that I have is that the "driveway" is very difficult! You really almost need a 4 wheel drive to get up the driveway. I am having to have my car realigned after going up that for the week.
